The Odisha state government has launched a special scheme for the welfare of children orphaned due to the pandemic. On Sunday the Naveen Patnaik govt embark a financial aid plan for orphans. They will be categorised into three sections, those who lost both parents, a single parent or the breadwinner parent.
As per the plan children will be given a monthly allowance of Rs 2,500.
“The State government is committed to providing a safe environment for holistic development of these children who need special care of the society,” stated Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister, Odisha.
The state government would pander the relatives of the destitute children to step up for their care.
